i gotten this from Evan's blog and yes its true.

and i've realised no one outside of the medical profession actually knows what nurses to at work. so let me tell you.
-we do basic nursing care - we clean and serve and tidy and get ordered around just like a maid.
-we fill up monitoring charts and write reports on what was done during the shift.
-we carry out doctor's orders - eg. they order blood investigations? we put out the form, take the blood and send it off to the lab. they order x-rays, ultrasounds, scopes? we put out the form, chase the doc to fill it out, fax it the the respective rooms, call them up to make sure they recieved the fax, call them up later again to arrange for appointment times if we need to. and of course a whole other bunch of stuff too.
-we serve medications every 8 hourly. sometimes more often, depending on orders.
-we send & fetch patients to operations, and sometimes if the pt is immobile we have to follow them to scans and scopes and all that investigations.
-we're the middle-person and scapegoat to everything. we lias with the patient/relative/pharmacist to the doctor and vice versa. irritates us most when relatives chase us to get the doctors to update them. not our problem if we have told the doctor to update but he doesn't right. wrong, the nurses are supposed to answer all requests by the patients/relatives.
mentioning about this matter, wah i was really pissed yesterday cos some doctor vented his frustration on us for making him update this relative. not our fault when relatives are annoying/demanding/retarded right. wrong, cos we are nurses, and nurses are supposed to please relatives, lest they complain.
something goes wrong, we're first to get into trouble. doctors order wrong meds/investigations, its our fault cos we're supposed to be alert enough to point the mistakes out. if we're so smart we wouldn't need doctors anymore.
-and most importantly, we ensure patient's safety.

you think we're very free? wrong, we're just efficient.
honestly, i don't see how nursing is noble. because its tough you'd say, but only because you made it difficult.

FML

this happens to me once. .

[Today, I got a text message from a number I didn't know telling me, "Fine. It's over, have a wonderful life." I've never had a girlfriend and now I get broken up with by girls I don't even know.]

and these are pure funny

[Today, I found out my girlfriend had been cheating on me for 3 weeks. In retaliation,[ I threw a brick through the back window of the car she had apparently cheated in, when I thought she wasn't home and nobody was around to see it. Sadly, they were in the backseat then. I face assault charges now. ]

[Today, I was at soccer camp and was hit in the face with a ball. I walked to the nurse and asked for a napkin or tissues to help stop the bleeding. The only thing she could come up with? A tampon. I spent 20 minutes with a tampon shoved up my nostril in front of my laughing teammates.]

[Today, my "future" wife got drunk in front of my parents, who she was meeting for the first time. She called my dad a piece of shit and told my mom she wants to tear her own eyes out.]

[Today, I learned that the excessive groin sweating I've been trying to deal with for weeks isn't groin sweating. It's a slow and steady stream of urine that I have no control over.]

yes yes i noe, i've been in army for a month now, with no updates and no news haha, Ppl getting bored eh?

well i'm so free to blog now its because i'm down with fever. . and yes 7 days mc for precaution. Due to this fever, imma miss the E mart trip, i need to get my Camou cream. Den my Live firing. When i'm back, its gonna be field camp for me. pffttt !!!!

I have been thinking y did i chiong so much for in the army, which now causes my old injury (my knee) to worsen. Usually the pain comes and go within a few hours. But this time, its been around for more than a week ! this suck. I wan go with my buddies, bunk mates, platoon mates to finish everything TOGETHER. and it all seems so motivating, with her as motivator, i thought i'll just Chiong and grow up, but reality always hit haha. Right momo?

well its late. And i'm suppose to be resting. till later then. . lets see what boring things i can come up with this boring week.

blogspot got problem again, but i shall carry on updating. . last 2nd day before army. .

Went to Plaza Sing to play L4D with reen mei mei. And we (ruby and i) had a surprise for her. She thought Ruby had went to malaysia. And i asked her to go clubbing LOL. So thinking its real, she agreed to it. :D

And its a success. She was taken aback and shocked :P Too bad Joyce didn't make it. Well den we went to Walk from Plaza Sing to Orchard Far East after Jinx and Joseph. Funny bastards this 2 LOL.

we went to rebel, With 5 ppl including myself. there are Ruby, Reen, Peiru and Tricia, reen's friend. Great fun, met quite alot of ppl, and met a fellow O school dancer :D we were the only 2 dancing there. LOL as in really dancing. the rest was just going over shake shake, looking for girls to grind =.= nice ppl haha !

well i just reached home. and waiting for hair to dry LOL i think today is the last day i'm gonna have hair to dry -.- TMD ! :x cause going to cut botak liao ! ><.

well will update tonite again before i go in tml morning :D wish me luck LOL

Newest update. . Henry will be going in tekong in 3 days and 6 hours from now. . WOOTS ! :X

Firstly, thank you rowell <3 ^^ i've a great time today ^^

well today, i asked rowell for a date :D and yay she agreed haha. So therefore, planning the whole day, i was worried that the weather will not be good, but thankfully everything went smoothly :D

we met at 1 pm, went to watch G force 3D LoL. Its uber funny and cute !

its great if u wanna have a laugh. After the movie, we went to Labrador Park. Well i promised her i would bring her there one day. And wa la. At last i fulfilled that promise to her haha.

we walked around and talked haha. So fun talking to her. Well most of the time she talks LOL but its great. Beats me talking all the time, later i bore her LOL. Since i'm so lame and crappy :x later turns her off big time LOLOL. We stayed from 3-7 haha ! Den slowly walked out to the main road.

After all the walks, Could see rowell super tired haha, was thinking of going back to vivo for dinner de, but when saw the bus 100, we decided to go to somewhere near her place haha !

therefore, we went over to Serangoon Mac. Had a macspicy meal there. And rowell kope my fries and drinks haha lucky she took, if not i don think i can finish it. :x. I really had a great time today. whats more happy is I think she likes the gift i gave her LOL. . well i hope :X. anyways, our pic for today :X

these 2 days was talking to reen mei mei :D told her about the problem i have, and she like always give quite a good solution aha. Den also we talked about other things :X *shh*

anyhow, these few days can see poh han super stress of something haha ! i think fiona noe also :X well he is stress with exams. . and some other things :P which i am collecting, and giving to the person soon i hope LOL. but no matter how soon, it will still be when i go army LOL.

anyhow, was talking to reen yesterday. And suddenly we got alot to talk about LoL. and she made this Lol *touched*

just found out elton signed on to the NAVY !!!! ARGH !!! i wan go also sia ! LOL and btw, he's POP is at 090909 damn it -.- LOL i going in 110909. And he is having b'day celebration 120909 -.- MA DE ! :X LOL. well hope he enjoys it :D

currently there is nothing much to post about, everyday is fun and eat and slp and bullying cousins :X and play and eat and slp :x poor ppl who are suffering with Exams haha.

den to primary school friends, for last minute leaving to macao, letting u guys cancelled the friday dinner

lastly, to Rui ying, James, Jie ying and CT? loL couldn't meet u guys for the present getting on thursday !

anyhow, i was loooking through my old camera's photos. And i saw quite a bit of photos LoL here are some ^^. Well just for my entertainment la huh.

i love all the people from here :D they are really like a big family to me. ^^ but its been so long since i go back >< *guilty* LOL. Ppl there are Huiying, Carol, Vivian. And others !

Church friends in Bukit Batok. Cousin's church. Ppl are really kind inside. Haha, treated me really well, and unlike other Christians church, they nvr force me to go into church ! so we got along super well :D

During Nursing Attachments :D the best time of my 3 yrs too ! Met alot of great ppl, which the photos are not here LoL. And the catch is that i'm always the only guy. . . Lucky or Unlucky LOL u think about it :x

anyways, i was on the plane to macao, and the pics i took out of the seat window LoL

nice eh? well i'll try to get the evening view when i come back from macao haha on the sept 2 :x well just in case u suddenly wanna be nice and all, and wanna come pick me up, i'm arriving in singapore 1930 sept 2 LOLOL
